White Breu

The healing power of traditional peoples of the Amazon rainforest. 

White Breu resin is naturally produced by a tree known as Almeceguiera or Almescia (Protium Heptaphyllum). It belongs to the Burseceas tree family, native of the Brazilian Amazonian rainforest. The tree reaches up to 30 meters high, grows in mainland areas, sandy soils, and abundant in organic matter.

White Breu Gum resin is extracted from the bark of a tree from the Amazon region. Used by indigenous cultures for millennia in rituals of healing and purification. This unique incense has enhanced action and is recommended for more intense and deep purification smoke, or for larger areas, to achieve balance and harmony.

Breu’s aromatic resin is rich in alpha and beta-amyrina triterpenes, which possess anti-inflammatory, analgesic and gastro-protective properties. (Dep. of Physiology and Pharmacology of the Federal University of Ceará, Brazil.) The resin is indicated for respiratory trouble, stomach ache, liver malfunction, and mental acuity.

Our Inca Series incense look and feel different than other incense, because they are! They are highly aromatic, made with natural resins, plants and herbs and are energetically powerful. These beautiful sticks will burn up to 2 hours (depending on room conditions). Please note that these incense are quite delicate and can (and will) have breaks in the incense. This is normal and not a defect! Please also note that these incense tend to spark, so be cautious when lighting.
